Overview

TimeToPrep ("we," "us") operates timetoprep.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We default to privacy-preserving settings — analytics run only if you opt in via our cookie banner.

Information we collect

• Newsletter email — if you subscribe, we store your email address to send updates. You can unsubscribe anytime.
• Analytics (opt-in only) — if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled to understand aggregate traffic patterns.
• Reader accounts — if you create an account to submit gear reviews, we store your email, display name, and review text in Supabase. Reviews are moderated before publication.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not load ad-tracking pixels without disclosure.
• We do not use browser localStorage for consent — we use a first-party cookie with a one-year expiry.

How we use information

Email addresses are used to send the newsletter you requested. Analytics data helps us understand which guides are useful so we can improve coverage. We do not use your data for automated profiling or third-party marketing lists.

Data storage

Newsletter subscribers are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Access is limited to authorized team members.

Your choices

• Decline analytics cookies and receive essential site functionality only.
• Unsubscribe from email via the link in any newsletter message.
• Request deletion of your subscriber record or reader account by emailing hello@timetoprep.com.

Children

TimeToPrep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
